NPS America Awards Program 2008-2009
Note from the Chairman
Welcome to the pilot program for NPS America Awards. There has been a lot of research done by a number of dedicated volunteers on the topic of Awards programs. Thank you all for your work and dedication.
I want to stress that this is a pilot program – it is not 100% complete or set in stone for all eternity. Recognizing M&M and BRPs is an important part of the mission of NPS America. While we wanted to accomplish this task right out of the gate, at the same time, our new organization has many points to fine tune.
As you utilize this Awards program for 2008 and 2009, please remember that we need to hear from our membership. If the points accumulation scheme currently noted seems incorrect or not quite appropriate, let us know. If your equestrian discipline is missing from the program, let us know. The program needs to embrace all ponies and members. Feedback is crucial to success, and I look forward to working through this process with all of you – even on a case by case basis of necessary.
Until a new NPS America Secretary has been appointed, I will work with our webmaster to implement and record the information and results for the Awards program. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
